We’ve had some amazing people sign up to speak at WordCamp Connecticut and I can’t wait to release our schedule. The cutoff date for your application to speak is March 8. Our committee will be choosing speakers on March 9 and we will be sending out confirmations soon after. If you haven’t signed up yet, this is your last call to be counted among the best of WordPress.   1. If you are selected as a speaker, are you automatically registered or is registration still a requirement? Our firm is considering sponsorship and we want to know if we need to factor in speaker attendance or not for the number of tickets we need to secure.

    1. If you are selected as a speaker you will not need to purchase a ticket. We are planning to notify speakers next week before tickets go on sale. Glad to hear you are considering sponsorship. This is going to be such an incredible event and we are expecting a sold out crowd.
